Title 2 The Video Creation Scientists Tip Of The Day

Hi {Name}

Today's video creation tip has to do with a different way to use
callouts.

Callouts are what we in the video industry call placing
a picture (Like an arrow or a word bubble) over top
of the video to... You guessed it CALLOUT something
on the screen.

You are probably already familiar with adding a word
or thought bubble to the screen above someone's head
but have you ever thought of reversing the process?

If you reverse the process, you can create some pretty
amazing effects.

Try this idea as an experiment and then let your own
creativity go wild.

Create a short video of you talking at your desk.

Now, instead of creating a small word bubble, find a picture
on the web of open theater curtains. (The more red and velvet
the better)

Now make this picture into a png. "call out" and increase the
size of this "call out" to the entire size of your video screen.

(Note: .PNG's are clear where the open part of the curtains are.)

Now your main video should look as if it is playing from behind
and between the plush theater curtains!

You could also use a picture of wood grain and then align
it so that you appear to be looking through a knot hole.

You could also use this technique to create your own version
of the classic "Warner Brothers" cartoons where Porky Pig
says, "Good b.. b... b... Ah So Long" at the end of the show!

===========================================

This might not be appropriate for all videos but it's another
tool for your war chest.

Good luck!

Until next time,
