Hello,

A slogan (or tagline) is a short, catchy saying that is
used to quickly and easily convey your brand’s vision and
voice.

Some of the world’s most famous brand slogans include:

Where’s The Beef? (Wendy’s)

Just Do It (Nike)

Your Way, Right Away (Burger King)

Betcha Can’t Eat Just One (Lay’s Potato Chips)

Nationwide Is On Your Side (Nationwide)

Like A Good Neighbor, State Farm Is There (State Farm)

Finger Lickin’ Good (KFC)

You’ve probably heard most, or all of these slogans, and you
probably even recognized which companies they belonged to.

These are perfect examples of branding at its finest. Catchy.
Memorable. And perfectly conveying the company’s core vision.

Wendy’s wanted to brand themselves as having better quality
burgers than other chains, so they developed the “Where’s The
Beef?” campaign of the 80s to poke fun at the small burger
patties of their competitors. It worked.

Burger King wanted its customers to know they could ask for
extra pickles or no ketchup on their burger without being
berated like they might at other restaurants, and that they
could expect fast service. Their “Your Way, Right Away”
slogan conveyed that perfectly.

What is the one thing your company really wants to convey to
potential customers?

Affordability?

Luxury?

Speed?

Status?

Customer Service?

You can choose one core value (or maybe two, such as the
Burger King slogan) to focus on, and then create your slogan
from that.

It might take several days, or even weeks of brainstorming
before you think of the perfect slogan, but it’s something
you shouldn’t rush.

A slogan can be absolute gold to a brand, so it’s critical
to take the time to get it right!
