Welcome to part two of our email series on branding.

Today we’re going to take a look at some of the ways you
can develop a good brand strategy for your company or
product.

A brand strategy is basically the overall “personality” of
a company. It’s a long-term plan for the brand that involves
a number of different elements, including the brand’s public
image, how it interacts with consumers, and, of course, the
visual branding.

There are several steps to developing a good brand strategy.

The first step is to figure out your overall brand vision.
Your vision is the overall plan for your company, and
includes your company’s goals, values, and potential customer
profile.

Next, you must figure out your brand’s voice. Your voice will
be the way in which your company interacts with the public.
This would be the personality of your company on social media
and customer service.

Coming up with a great slogan or tagline is next. As you know,
a great slogan or tagline can really pique the public’s
interest and draw them in.

Then you must figure out which colors you’d like to use to
represent your brand. Believe it or not, there is a
psychological aspect to the colors you choose, and they can
have a definite effect on sales.

Finally, you must develop the logo for your company. The logo
is one of the first things many people will see when it comes
to your company or product, and it must be consistent with
your vision and voice.

If you miss any one of these basic steps in the development
of your brand strategy, you may find your company or
product isn’t as successful as you hope.

Over the coming days, you’re going to learn detailed info
about each of these steps so you can develop your own
killer brand strategy.

You’re going to learn exactly how to find your brand’s
vision and voice, how to choose an effective slogan, how
to use color to convey your brand’s message, and how to
develop a logo that will not only be visually appealing,
but also help you reach your business goals.

Tomorrow, we’re going to take a look at how you can find
the right vision for your company, and how that will
translate into the other aspects of branding.

Until then,
